I charge $250 per hour for all work I do. I will always define the scope of the engagement and provide an estimate of time required to complete.
Yes, we offer a complimentary initial consultation. I think it is important that clients trust their advisor and feel comfortable sharing personal and financial information. This meeting provides the opportunity to see if we are a good fit. I’ll also answer any questions about the way I work with clients. If we are not a good fit, I will happily help you find another Fee-Only Financial Advisor.
NO. I believe everyone benefits from financial advice provided by a Fiduciary Fee-Only Advisor.
My practice is digital first, and I typically meet with clients virtually. I welcome the opportunity to meet with clients in Northwest Arkansas in person and look forward to meeting every client in person someday.
My advice is only as good as the information you provide, and your prompt responses will drive the timely output. Much of the data gathering process is accomplished by linking your financial accounts to my planning software. Some documents will be electronically uploaded, and I will fill in the gaps with emails.
I created my firm to help my peers, and my model is heavily influenced by their frustrations with the current practices of the wealth management and financial planning industry. Many dislike the practice of calculating fees based on assets under management. They don’t understand why the fees they pay go up when they deposit more money into their account. I agree with them and address that by charging an hourly fee based only on the time I spend working on a client’s behalf. When it comes to financial planning, many advisors insist on a rigid model where they charge subscription fees or large flat fees. I recognize that every client situation is different. My model allows me to customize my services to exactly what the client desires. Ultimately, my “different approach” is putting the client’s needs and preferences first. Period.
Every piece of advice that I offer my clients is based on my own journey along this path. I have owned, operated and exited a successful business. I’ve sat across the table from CPAs and attorneys to craft my own financial and estate plan. My wife and I have ensured our children’s needs will be met if anything happens to us. I have a deep understanding of financial markets that comes from managing my own investments including private offerings. Most financial advisors have strong educational backgrounds and significant experience advising clients, but they have not personally experienced the situations through which they are guiding their HNW clients.
